CABLE ASSEMBLER TEMP 1ST
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
A variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as cables, connectors and circuit breakers.
Performs Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.
Cable Assembly: Cut To Length, Prep cable ends, Heat shrink labels, Pre tin wires, Crimp contacts, Assemble connector, Test & Tighten.
PDP Assembly: Buss bar assembly, Cut to length, Neutral and Ground bar assembly, Assemble connectors
Follows and adheres to all company and departmental procedures and policies.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Completes documentation timely and accurately.
Promptly reports to supervisor all observations that are relevant to ensure a safe and efficient operation in the department.
Uses good judgment in performing tasks correctly the first time through.
Performs other duties as directed by supervisor.
Ability to read prints/instructions
Good dexterity and experience working with hardware
Connector & Contact kitting
Mechanical and Electrical assembly knowledge
Connector Assembly knowledge
Ability to drive a forklift or obtain a forklift license
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time.
Ability to work in metric and English units of measure.
