MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR $16 - $18 DOE

The Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor performs work to keep machines, mechanical equipment, or the facility in repair. Duties may include insulating, welding, machining, carpentry, plumbing, repairing electrical or mechanical equipment, installing new equipment and repairing buildings, floors, or stairs also general clean-up of spills and messes. Be able to work on refrigeration and air conditioning equipment. Must perform duties with a forklift as needed.
NOTE: This is a Drug Free Workplace.
Work environment: indoor and outdoor work environments; moderate to high noise level.
Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.
Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that facilities and equipment (i.E. Air conditioning units) continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.
Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, and perform other maintenance actions, following checklists.
Assemble, install and/or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery, and equipment.
Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking repair manuals and parts catalogs as necessary.
Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment in order to diagnose machine malfunctions.
Record maintenance and repair work performed and the costs of the work, if necessary.
Dismantle devices to gain access to, remove, repair or replace defective parts, using hand tools and power tools.
Ability to work on refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
Ability to operate a forklift.
Reliable, consistent attendance is a requirement and essential function for this position.

High School Diploma/GED.
Three (3) years work experience in a maintenance position.
Good communication skills, both oral and written.
Good organization skills prioritize work assignments and manage work time.
Vocational diploma training in general maintenance and repair processes and techniques.
Four (4) years work experience in maintenance position.
