MECHANICAL ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN
PALM CITY, FL 34990
This position s primary responsibility is gathering all prints, materials and tools for creating sub-assemblies and assemblies for finished products. Additional duties may in include assisting in other areas of manufacturing.
Role and Responsibilities
The principle roles and responsibilities for this assembly technician position include, but are not limited to the following:
Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, drawings, specifications and parts lists; gathering all parts, subassemblies, tools and materials.
Assemble components by examining connections for proper material identification, correct fit, and fasten parts/subassemblies.
Verify specifications by measuring completed components.
Resolve problems to meet required specifications.
Maintain a safe clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
Maintain supplies by checking stock to determine inventory levels, anticipating needed supplies.
Skills and Qualifications
Mechanical ability to assemble parts according to prints
Able to use hand power tools
Electrical ability, to make simple wire harness and install into assemblies
Qualification and Education Requirements
High school diploma.
Previous quality control experience preferred.
Use common measuring tools.
Use hand power tools: screw gun, drill, saw
Use computer to look up drawings, prints, etc.
Use soldering iron
