QUALITY INSPECTOR- ASSEMBLY
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Confirm that plant procedures and policies are adhered to IAW AS9100/ISO9001 standards, Military Statutory & Regulatory and/or Government contract requirements.
Determine overall plant product quality by conducting and evaluating various inspections and testing of the connectors, cable assemblies and PDU s produced by production staff.
Audit Assembly documentation for conformance. Including drawings, travelers and Work Orders.
Read and Interpret Specifications and assembly drawings.
Prepare plant evaluation reports and submit them to Quality Supervisor.
Initiate Non-Conformance Reports as required.
Assist in development of special department projects and work in conjunction with Quality Supervisor.
Accept responsibility of training and preparing new employees for this position.
May educate and instruct plant personnel in recommended quality control testing, equipment and general safety and housekeeping practices. Confirm these procedures are being maintained.
Function as an information source for other LexTM3 departments when critical quality issues arise.

High School Diploma, GED or 3 years work experience in this field.
Working knowledge of electrical connectors, cable assembly and/or power distribution systems
Background in electrical engineering or the electrical field a plus
Working knowledge and use of inspection documentation/tools.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Etc.). Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems.
Good math skills; proficiency in algebra desired.
Precise attention to detail and good organization skills.
Must have effective communication skills, verbal, written.
Ability to be adaptable & flexible to changing workplace priorities.
Ability to prioritize and accomplish tasks in a fast-paced environment.
High sense of urgency.
Ability to follow through on tasks and projects.
Ability to work independently using procedures.
Good analytical skills.
